Background Info
Hi, prospective applicants,
So you’d like a little more “background info” on the topic before signing up? You can check out our podcast episode on Onboarding Residents for starters.
Potential prerequisites for this course would be decent communication skills, and building your system’s internal trust.
One thing we’ll definitely be doing is working on the concept of Welcoming Committees, so here’s our United Front Boot Camp post about it.
Stuck and lost residents sometimes are bumping around in your front area, taking up face-time, or getting triggered into front without consent of either the former front or the person who isn’t all in the Here & Now. Here’s an article to help reframe the concept of “stealing front” and hopefully help prevent it if possible.
The upshot of this course is talking about Rescue Missions. Here’s our big main article on the topic with more links than you can probably look into before these sessions start.
Good luck with the application process!
