We know that the courseware is new to folk and that many don’t know how to rate the courses so here’s a quick tutorial.
When you log in, under your username on the top right of the page, select the “My Courses” menu item. This is the easiest way to get to the courses y’all are enrolled in.
This brings up a list of the courses y’all are enrolled in:
Select the course that you wish to review or rate, and scroll down to the tabbed view of options for the course. Select Reviews. If you are enrolled, you are given an option to Review the course. You do not need to have finished the entire course to review it, and this is helpful as some students may not have finished all assignments or wish to go back and re-do prior materials as different headmates wish to process course materials.
When you click on “Write a Review” you are given a form in which to give your review a title, write your review, and rate the course. Keep in mind that this is a feature for prospective students to try to understand what former students have gotten or are getting from the course, what issues the course helps people work on, how enjoyable or worthwhile it is, etc. There are separate ways to give feedback to the instructors — reviews are for prospective students or professionals and laypeople who may want to recommend the course to others or their loved ones.
When you are done and add your review, it will be held for approval (in case of review/comment spam), so you may not see it right away. We will not suppress critical reviews, only spam, deliberate triggers or other forms of assholery, and abuse.
When published, all reviews for each course will show up in the same tab, and may be shown around the website as in-site course “ads” or promotions.
